starting our speeches

My class started our speeches a while ago and now we have said them in front of the class when we started I only had this:

*Big thing to remember: Write like you talk. This is a SPEECH. You will be speaking it, so writing it as you would say it will help you connect with it more

• What’s my topic?

Why kids should go to school

• Who is my target audience? And why are they my target audience?

kids because they never like to go to school.

• My introduction: Think about how you want to start your speech. Possible ways: 
• Question: Ask the audience a question. “Have you ever wondered how the Earth became round or how the ocean sits patiently in the same place?” - challenge the audience to think
• Story: Tell a story about an experience you or a friend has had. Make yourself more relatable
• Quote: If a famous person or even someone you know has made a strong comment about your topic
• Statistic: Any strong data to support your topic. EG, if you were doing a speech around animals going extinct due to global warming.. “Did you know that it is estimated that 99% of all the species that have ever lived on Earth are now extinct”
• Or if you were doing a speech about how lying isn’t a bad thing or that everyone does it: “60% of people can’t get through a ten-minute conversation without lying”

• My first point: do you realise that kids are not getting enough education. They some parents still refuse to bring their kids to school and go against the law.

• The support for my first point: 

Einstein went to school and if your child went to school your child could get the brains of Einstein. 

• Second point:

To get a degree in high school you need to succeed in primary school.

The best learning teacher ever

Our learning teacher is really nice and she started doing something called the marble jar and she puts a marble in when we behave. when the jar is full we get to do something special.

Why kids should go to school.

Intro

My target audience are kids and parents

My point is to convince you all that kids should go to school.

Content

kids are always complaining about going to school.
but when they are older they will appreciate what school does.
It gives kids a chance to learn. Kids need more education.
Well educated kids get a lot of things. They get things like
a job which gets them money to spend it on a house. 

delivery

Well educated kids will have a nice wealthy life. Kids love devices
and would use them at school but did Einstein have any devices to
help him learn? NOPE. if you send your kid to school possibly they
could be as smart as Einstein one day!

Conclusion

If your kid doesn’t go to school your kid could get poor when
they are older.
they would have no warmth and no home but  educated people
are the opposite.

Over all

Kids should go to school whether they like it or not.
The whole point of school is to learn and have fun not to torcher you.

Every child has the right to go to school and learn. ...
But more than 260 million children and young people are out of
school, and many of them will never get an education. By 2030
ensure every child completes free, equitable and quality primary
and secondary education.Agree with me and you could be the
smartest person on earth in no time.There are many reasons
we go to school. The main reason we attend school is to gain
the skills and education needed to live autonomously and
successfully. School also teaches us social skills we will need
in our future lives and careers. ... Public education teaches us
how to collaborate effectively with others.

Fun at flipout

Fun at Flip out

My team and I wen to flip out and we all had a great time! When we got there we had to split up into groups and at first my group got to go into the fome pit first! 1 hour later we got back on the bus and we were so happy because we had such a great time!
